Here you can visit touch and enquire about any of the above mentioned surfboards and if interested arrange trials of our custom surfboards.
You can also see and touch one of the finest vintage surfboard collection this side of any museums, including a 1965 Mickey Dora Gregg Noll Da Cat, an immaculate original Velzy, Webbers, Hobies and many others!!
We have one of the UK’s largest online surfboard surf shop with a large selection of custom made surfboards lovingly handcrafted from the finest materials by some of the world’s greatest shapers.
More importantly the surfboards are generally in stock and can be easily spoken about via Email, text, phone calls, we will only be too happy to help and make the buying experience as pleasant as possible.
We are in the hub of the Devon surf industry and in a region offering some of the best surfing beaches,and world-class waves like Saunton Sands, Croyde, Putsborough, Woolacombe,and world-class waves.
Surf School
Don’t worry if you’re not a regular surfer. You can learn to surf, or improve your surfing, with Surf South West . This surf school is approved by the British Surfing Association and they ensure our qualifications and standards are amongst the best in the UK.
Even better why not book a one to one with our very own instructor, who has himself undergone a rigorous training programme with the British surfing association and has a total of over 9 years of coaching experience.
He is there for those who want to learn having bought their first boards or for those wanting to move to the next level, and improve their surfing ability or try a new board from us under supervision.
We have a large surf hire centre located at Saunton Sands Beach. We carry a huge range of new surf equipment in all sizes (and we mean all!). Group discounts are available and a delivery and collection service can be provided. Should you want to pick the equipment on the way to the beach and not Saunton we can have it all ready to be picked up either from the main shop surf shop in Braunton. We will be pleased to help and try to guide you to the right equipment for the right weather and sea conditions. We hire winter weight wetsuits until the end of April with surf boots and surf gloves to match if required. The staff will look after your car keys whilst you are in the water as a little perk of being a customer of ours.
